Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal

Those who are entitled to the Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal can now apply for it. The National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association has agreed to coordinate and collate the applications even if you are not a member.
You can print out an application form from the home page of their web site.

Dear Tony,

For the record, you might like to know that yesterday, in
company with Lord Craig (President) and AVM Nigel Baldwin
(Vice-President), I attended the Memorial Service for the late Air
Marshal Professor The Lord Garden held at St Clement Danes Church.

Nigel Baldwin told me that AVM Ron Dick (the other VP) has been
seriously ill with pancreatic cancer though Ron has responded to
treatment (at Boston, Mass.); but perhaps you already knew this.

Finally, as the 101 Assn Membership Sec seemed to have 'dropped
the baton', I nudged Noel Steel, the Treasurer, into action; and I see
that contact has finally been made with you.
